How do I arrange for NEW SERVICE or a TRANSFER OF SERVICE? 
    You can come to our office at: 101 Fortune Street inside City Hall.


What information do I need to provide for a new or transferred account? 
    • Name 
    • Service Address - Where do you want the water service? 
    • Billing Address - Where do you want the bill sent? 
    • Your Phone Number 
    • Copy of Texas Driver's License or Texas ID Card 
    • Copy Social Security Number


How much is the deposit for new water service? 
    Commercial accounts inside the city limits are required to pay a deposit of $175.00. 
    Commercial accounts outside of the city limits are required to pay a deposit of $250.00. 
    Residential accounts inside the city limits are required to pay a deposit of $125.00. 
    Residential account outside of the city limits are required to pay a deposit of $200.00.


How much does it cost to transfer my service to a new address? 
    • Transferred Service: $17.50 
        This charge will appear on your first bill.

 
How long will it be before I get new water service connected? 
    We offer "Same Day Service" for requests received by 2:00PM…always…and at no extra charge!


Do I need to be there when services is connected? 
• If your home or business already has water service, you don't need to be there. 
• However, if water is disconnected…you must be there so that you can watch for leaks or open faucets! 
• If you're willing to risk it, you can complete a form which will relieve the Water Department from any liability for water damage. Then, you DON'T have to be there when we turn your meter on. Contact the billing office for more information.


How do I report a water leak or sewer blockage? 
To report water leaks or sewer stops during regular hours, you can call 883-1452 or report on-line using the “Let Us Know” section to the left of this page. 

Important: On-Line reports are received during regular business hours so if you are reporting during the evening hours or on the weekend, you need to call 883-3371. 

After business hours and weekends, call 883-3371 24 hours a day…seven days a week. A real person will answer your call and friendly field staff will come to help.


How and where can I pay my bill?

• On-Line: 
    Use the “Pay-On Line” section to the left of this page. 
    Credit and Debit Cards Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover 
    There is a fee of $3.00 per $100 or 3% per $500.
