Hand-Crafted Christmas Ornament Contest

Ornament should be 5in x 5in x 5in or smaller * 2. Only individually handmade ornaments will be considered. * 3. Ornament weight shall be 1/4lb. or less. * 4. Glass entries enter at own risk. Broken ornaments cannot be considered. * 5. No fee for entry. * 6. No limit on number of entries. * 7. Each entry must have an entry form and will be assigned an entry number when submitted. * 8. Do not put your name on your entry. * 9. Special consideration will be given to ornaments that feature Marlin's history, landmarks, name, etc. * 10. The use of recycled and natural materials is encouraged. * 11. Entry must be tree ready with hanging hardware attached. * Submission Deadline (December 2nd) *
Entry with Ornament Submission Form must be delivered to the City Secretary’s Office at Marlin City Hall, 101 Fortune Street, by Monday, December 2nd, 2013 by 5:00pm. Schools can collect entries with forms and contact City Clerk Danica Lewis (254-883-1450 x221 or email@example.com) to make arrangements for them to be picked up by that date and time.
Recognition, Display and Pick-Up *
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category will be recognized at a City Council Meeting at 5:30pm on December 10th, 2013 at City Hall. A reception for all participants will be held at City Hall prior to the meeting time.
All entries are required to be displayed at City Hall until January 6th.
Entries shall be picked up between the hours of 8am to 5pm January 7th thru the 11th. Entries that are not picked up will become property of the city.
