Historic Downtown Marlin Association
239 Live Oak Street
The Historic Downtown Marlin Association (HDMA) formerly known as the Marlin Merchants Association was organized to address the concerns and issues faced by the businesses located in the downtown area. One of the purposes of the HDMA is to work with the Chamber of Commerce and other organizations to make Marlin a better place to live, work and visit. Our focus is on Downtown – to encourage people to shop and conduct business in Marlin.
Why belong to HDMA?
Membership fees and fundraising activities provide the total financial base for achieving the Association goals. Each membership makes a difference in Christmas lighting and other efforts to bring shoppers into the downtown area.
Who can belong?
Any business or individual who is concerned or interested in preserving and improving the historic downtown district can belong – including banks – insurance agents – realtors – retailers – restaurants and other interested individuals.
The Association meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 12:00 noon at the office of Glenn Rose DDS at 211 Live Oak Street, Marlin. The dues are just $25.00 per year.
